Widget Updates
Widget is the latest dog to be selected for a K9 Helpers candidate and we are thrilled with how he and his candidate partner are progressing. They are not a team yet, but they are both learning a lot. Watch here for updates about the activities that Widget is engaged in!
Widget got his name from a Competition with the winner announced at the Valentines Tea in February 2011. Read about that here.
Banking
SEPTEMBER 2011:
Widget is a master of banking. He has been banking now for about a month at the TD Canada Trust on Eramosa! If you are banking and our special brown puppy comes in, ask the trainer how you can help with his training on the fly. Please remember not to talk to Widget though!

At K9 Helpers, we select dogs to suit people who have been through the first few sections of our program. When our candidates have filled in an application, had several meetings with us and done some volunteer hours with us, we evaluate their needs and choose a dog to match those needs.
